The 1962 Snowfall in Catalonia was a historic snowfall event that occurred on Christmas Day in 1962 and affected all of Catalonia, especially the central coast and pre-coastal areas. It is considered the most significant snowfall of the 20th century in this region. The person on the left is Mariano Carcassona, the donor's father. The person on the right is the neighbor. And yes, the neighbor we deduce took this other photograph. Since we don't know the approximate location, we place it generically in the Congrés Eucarístic neighborhood.

La nevada en Cataluña de 1962 fue un episodio histórico que se produjo el día de navidad de ese año y que afectó a toda Cataluña, especialmente al litoral y prelitoral central. Se considera la nevada más importante del siglo XX en esta área. El de la izquierda es Mariano Carcassonne, padre del cedente. El de la derecha, un vecino. Deducimos que dicho vecino tomó esta otra fotografia. Como no sabemos la dirección aproximada, la situamo genéricamente en el barrio del Congrés Eucarístic.
