The bell tower under construction

Avatar: Official proposal Official proposal
🎙️ Collective documentation

In this photograph we see the bell tower of the church under construction. We are talking about the church of San Pio X. It is located on Cardinal Tedeschini Street. Its construction began on November 20, 1960 and was inaugurated in 1963. You can also see the Teresian School, on the left of the photograph.

The bell tower, in fact, had no bells. It was the father of one of the participants who put in the loudspeakers. They were, in fact, a record of bells, and the father and the participant in the collective documentation day went up to the bell tower to play the record of the ringing of the bells. They explain to us that they put the cree to the bell tower before the bells. What happened, according to them, is that the budget ran out and there was no more budget to be able to buy and put bells.

⚙️ Methodology

Photograph collectively documented by neighbors participating in the Jornada de Documentació Col·lectiva de la Nit de Memòries, held on september 30 at the Canòdrom.
